Sanjay Upadhyaya
Chief Marketing Officer
Sanjay Upadhyaya serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Virtual-Q.
Mr. Upadhyaya brings more than 20 years of technology marketing
operations experience to his role, and is responsible for all
aspects of Virtual-Q's marketing strategy and strategic alliances
worldwide. This includes corporate marketing, field marketing,
partner and channel marketing, product and solution marketing,
sales enablement and marketing operations functions.
Mr. Upadhyaya brings extensive experience in alliances and
channel development. Recently at NetPro (now Quest Software),
Mr. Upadhyaya was responsible for managing the strategic alliance
relationship with Microsoft across North America and Europe,
Middle-East and Africa. He executed on global sales and
marketing campaigns, technology alignment and sales enablement
across Microsoft and joint partners.
Mr. Upadhyaya has held positions with marquee organizations
including IBM, Novell and HP where he developed industry-leading
and recognized customer service offerings as well as innovative
reseller channel partner programs in NA and EMEA. Mr. Upadhyaya has
held management positions in business development and product
marketing for BindView Corporation (now Symantec), driving
alliances and channels across Microsoft, Accenture, CSC, HP, Dell
and Novell. Mr. Upadhyaya was responsible for driving product
marketing and sales enablement initiatives with strategic
partners. Prior to BindView Corporation Mr. Upadhyaya was
responsible for managing the marketing and corporate strategy for
NEON Systems.
Mr. Upadhyaya graduated with honors from the University of
Coventry in the United Kingdom and attended Harvard Business
School's Management Program in strategic management, marketing and
business development. Mr. Upadhyaya and his family reside in
The Woodlands, TX (Houston).
